The river lay frozen behind him. Though, he didn't feel the cold around anymore. ~~~ I felt like showing the other side of the so called Black Death. Never the less, his work in Grodno shaped him. ---------- Tools: PhotoshopCS3, SAI, tablet Time: Not long. It was more of a speed painting. Oskova (c) me Reference (c) [link]
Well this is my first critique ever, so hope it helps you.
First it reminds me of my dog, Aries. We had to put him down because he had cancer and couldn't take it anymore. So we put him down when he was only just seven years old. Now we just have his sister, Alexis, still. She's hanging in there. She plays with our other dog, Silly Lilly, our Great Dane.
Their is only one thing that is bothering me.
~ The hair on the chest looks a little unreal. Try to blend more of the surrounding colors around it to not make it stand out so much.
Well, I never wrote a critique before so I hope this will be helpful.
I think in the vision this is perfect, but the technique isn't yet fully acquired, you need more practice, but you're in the good way! So keep this up, your line-less works, as for the backgrounds, are getting more and more amazing! Once the technique is acquired, the impact will be full in my opinion. For the originality, there's nothing to say!
I advice watching streaming/tutorials in order to find the technique that will fit you the best, the one that you'll like the most.
